There are hundreds of thousands of veterans interred in cemeteries across the country. In fact, headstones under the care of Veterans Affairs Canada and Commonwealth War Graves Commission alone number over 216,000 in Canada. And this does not include the countless other veterans whose markers are not maintained by VAC or CWGC.

Help Us to Honour Them All

Use the map below to find a cemetery near you. Then bring together youth from your area to hold a No Stone Left Alone event to honour and learn more about veterans from their community. Try engaging schools, youth groups or local families - NSLA has ample resources to assist you every step of the way.

  • Click on a location to get more information about the site

  • Use the Filter items box to search for a site

  • Click on the markers to see what information is available for mapped cemeteries. Red dots indicate that a NSLA commemoration took place at this cemetery in 2023.

  • Once you have found a cemetery you are interested in, note its Name and Cemetery Number. Then click the button below to get started on planning your NSLA event.
